Wonderful

The hotel is in an excellent location with easy access to restaurants, the Duomo and other attractions and the train station. Breakfast is excellent. The staff is extremely helpful and responsive to guests needs. Rooms are charming and comfortable.

I recovered only recently from a knee surgery and had a personal issue with rather slippery shower.

If we have the opportunity to again visit Florence we will try to book Hotel Atelier.

Hotel art atelier was beyond our expectations. Very clean, very quiet, located in a central area surrounded by Florentine attractions and a plethora of very nice and reasonable cafe’s. The reception staff are excellent and the breakfast buffet was by far the best we had in Rome, Florence, and Assisi.

You don’t visit Italy to watch streaming TV but the hotel could invest a little more to provided an internet connection that offers access to English-speaking TV.

Meraviglioso. Should have been a 5 star hotel !

The location of the hotel was second to none. It was within easy walking distance to all the museums,the railway station, the Ponte Vecchio and the Arno river, multiple restaurants, the covered market and outdoor market and of course quality shopping at your finger tips. Breakfast was more than adequate with fresh coffee, fresh fruit, toast and many an assortment of yoghurt,scrambled egg, etc etc. There was something for everyone. The room was spacious and comfortable and quiet, the bathroom was more than adequate. ALL staff were fantastic. From the reception desk -Paolo and others to the breakfast ladies and cleaners. All welcoming and super helpful and friendly. Grazie a tutti !

A tasteful haven of peace and comfort in central Florence

The hotel was a haven of peace, civility and comfort in central Florence. As soon as we walked in from the street we felt we could breathe out and relax in the tasteful surroundings. We arrived in the early morning on the overnight train from Sicily and the hotel receptionist welcomed us, gave us coffee and stored our bags for us until check-in time. The room was quiet and comfortable and the breakfast was delicious. The hotel was within easy walking distance of the Duomo, the Uffizi Gallery and the Ponte Vecchio.

Nice stay

Location was great, near San Lorenzo square. Staff were delightful, as was the breakfast. Quite an old hotel, decorated with some beautiful artwork.

As a person with allergies/sensitivity to various things, the high perfume smell in the lobby was overwhelming.

Great location, lovely accommodation and manager very quick to reply to queries. Would recommend.

Great position near the boat harbour. Room very clean, well equipped, lovely hot shower.

Nothing not to like. Would stay here again and recommend it to friends.

Very friendly & helpful staff, clean/comfortable, great location

The staff were so incredibly helpful and polite, adopting an earlier checkin for me with no problems. The location was great to walk to all the sites of Florence. Simple rooms but very clean and very comfortable.

Booked last minute and price was quite high.
